Saphia is an Associate with over 4 years’ experience in embedding participatory approaches to programme and service design and evaluation. As an experienced facilitator and qualitative researcher, she has a passion for embedding youth and community insight at the heart of decision-making.
In her previous role as a Senior Consultant in the Research, Evaluation and Learning Team at TSIP, Saphia programme managed a diverse portfolio of learning and evaluation partnerships, with clients including Co-op Foundation, Lambeth Council, NHS Charities Together and Brighton Women’s Centre. Her experience lies in working with young people and communities from racially minoritised backgrounds and embedding their lived experience in funds and programmes to co-design solutions and create sustainable social change.
Prior to TSIP, Saphia worked for London’s Violence Reduction Unit and The Ubele Initiative, gaining experience working within both regional governance bodies and the voluntary and community sector. Saphia has a first-class (Hons) in LLM Human Rights and Legal Practice from the University of Roehampton and a first-class (Hons) in BA History and American Studies from the University of Nottingham.

Interests: Racial and migration justice, youth-led approaches, violence reduction.
