TSIP appoints Genevieve Laurier as Managing Director
We are delighted to announce that Genevieve Laurier, current TSIP Director of Delivery and Impact, has been appointed as Managing Director. Genevieve has been with TSIP since its early days, in 2013. Starting in operations, she was quickly drawn to project work. Over the last six years, Genevieve has led and helped drive many of TSIP’s largest projects, with a particular focus on research and evaluation. Genevieve joined TSIP’s senior management team in early 2018, first as Head of Evaluation and Impact, before being promoted to Director last year.
Genevieve has to say about the role:
“I am very happy to be taking over as Managing Director for TSIP. Over the next year, we will be looking to expand our community engagement and design work, while maintaining our strong track record in research, evaluation and learning. We will also be looking inwards and finding ways to drive more positive impact in all aspects of our work as we move towards 100% employee ownership. It has been great running the business alongside Fancy and Alex over the last year and I am grateful for all of their work and ongoing support. We have a solid team of talented people whose passion for social change energises and inspires me every day. I am excited for this next step in TSIP’s journey and in mine.”
Stephen Bediako, TSIP Founder and Chair, had the following to say about Genevieve’s appointment:
“Gen has been a central figure in TSIP’s journey, helping the organization grow from strength to strength. She has an exciting vision for TSIP’s future - and the leadership skills and experience to make that vision happen. Over the last year, Gen, Fancy and Alex have worked together to lead TSIP and to strengthen each area of the business. Their combined expertise and collective leadership have laid a solid foundation for the new strategy. As we move into execution, the time is right for a Managing Director to take this forward – and I am so pleased that Gen will be stepping into this role. Her integrity and outstanding track record across TSIP’s core work mean that the team respect her enormously, and she has very positive relationships with clients. Onwards!”
