Steve Haines is the Public Affairs Director at Impetus. He began his career in the UK Government working on the education provisions of the Equality Act.  He was Save the Children UK's first Head of Global Campaigns and a Special Advisor in the United Nations Secretary General's Office.

Prior to Impetus, he was Executive Director for Policy and Campaigns at the National Deaf Children's Society. Steve is a Governor of Churchill Academy and Sixth Form and a trustee of Shelter.
