Katie Fowler
CEO

Katie joined TSIP in October 2022 as Chief Executive.

Katie has spent her career working across the private and non-profit sectors to understand and reduce social inequity. Her experience is rooted in international development where Katie has worked with countless community leaders in low resource settings, gaining vast insight into the intersectionality of systemic issues which compound financial and social inequality at all levels. She has lived and worked in over ten countries around the world.

Most recently as co-CEO of an international child rights NGO, Chance for Childhood, Katie delivered a localisation strategy refocusing the organisation to put lived experience at the centre of decision making, shifting power towards the communities they worked with to drive better programme outcomes with more impact. Committed to innovation and progress, Katie also led the exploration of social investment through the design of Uganda’s first quasi-equity social franchise in the justice sector.

In addition to her Charity sector leadership, Katie has a background in strategic planning, project management and user-centered design. In her early career, she managed extensive portfolios of global health consultancy for UK government departments, United Nations, World Health Organisation and the Gates Foundation. Katie’s vast experience has since led her into leadership positions where she can build organisations around inclusivity, innovation and trust.
