Nicholas is a lawyer with substantial leadership experience in the development sector, working in the UK, the US and South Africa. He is Chief Operating Officer at Thomson Reuters Foundation.

Nicholas was the Director of TrustLaw, the world’s largest pro bono clearing house, active in over 175 countries and a service of the Thomson Reuters Foundation. He has a special focus on social investment and social enterprise and leads TrustLaw initiatives including the Social Enterprise and Impact Investment legal training course and the TrustLaw Index of Pro Bono.
