The Money Advice Service

The Money Advice Service (MAS) is an independent service, set up by the government to help people manage their money. MAS does this directly – providing free and impartial advice services online and over the phone – and working in partnership with other organisations.

TSIP has worked on a series of projects with MAS. This includes providing expert support to their Children and Young Person Financial Capability Evaluation Cohort; helping to develop the MAS Evidence Hub, and an Outcomes Framework and Question Bank for Older People in Retirement; delivering a five-year horizon scan of the effects of debt in the UK in relation to housing, technology, devolution and other issues; and managing a Debt Advice Peer Review Process Evaluation.
