Mercy Shibemba is an award-winning activist for children, young people and women living with HIV. She's a contributing writer on the aidsmap Emerging Voices programme, sharing findings and insights on current research and medical developments relating to HIV.
Mercy works on youth engagement and participation across paediatric clinical trials and research. She is co-leading the development of a £10million fund enabling Black children and young people to reach their full potential. She is also a public speaker and consultant, working with organisations that want to embed community-led practice and capacity building within their work.
